Expert help needed urgent

I lost all my data on C and D while playing around with the ubuntu live cd.Anyway before all that all my HD was Dynamic.Now ive formatted my C and D and they are ok.now when to add my other sata HD i go to disk management, it reads "disk 1 dynamic" then a few space below it says foreign.I tried importing foreign disk but it failed.I cannot convert it to basic cuz all my data is on there (im speaking a 120GB drive nearly full)..

any other ways to accept my disk as is without converting to basic...or can i convert to basic without losing data ?

i booted up with ubuntu but i cant access my 120g sata cannot mount it.also i tried PCLOS im able to mount it but the mnt (mount) folder is empty ?.....since ive tried these 2 will KNOPPIX help me on this ?

If you formated your HDD then all of your data is lost (im pretty sure it is), because by formating it youve even lost all the backups windows keeps.

sorry to mislead u jonyboy but i didn't format.my c+D is ok.My other sata has probs now.it's dynamic so after a fresh format when i go to disk management the only thing to do is to convert to basic but this will cuz data loss.i still havent touch my 120gb
