Ext Hdd file transfer....

i have a 160 ext hdd and when i transfer large files from either the int or ext to the other. and i use firewire, it always says that some of th file did not transfer.

so i use usb 2 and it works fine. how come it doesnt with firewire? could it be my Hdd or is it a firewire problem? thanks!!! :confused:
 
if it transfers fine with usb then its obviously not an issue with the HDD...i would double check everything with the firewire
