I recently did a format to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. When I went to connect my 1.5 TB ext harddrive, it didnt work. Keep in mind it is brand new, and I had my backup on it. The drive shows up as RAW and worked perfect before this. It shows up in My Computer, but when I try and open it just stalls for a while and then says F: paramater is incorrect. Chkdsk says it wont work on RAW drives. It does show up in disk management though as "healthy (primary partition)" and also as RAW. I have tried these data recovery software, but they seem to take forever and give funky results. Any tips for how I can get my data back? Thank you very much.
