External drive not showing in explorer

First off this drive belongs to a friend. She said it about 2 years old. She came to me for help. When I plug in to my PC or any other PC, I cannot see it in explorer. I can however see it in device manager, devices and printers, and disk management. Never been down this road so I need some assistance.

This is what I get in disk management. Not sure what to do.
 
Sounds like the drive may be failing. If you can get a system to recognize it, it can be scanned for errors. If not, she's out of luck. If data on it is not important, you can try reformatting the drive.
