I bought an external drive about 2 months ago, got it set up with a new partition using disk management. it worked fine, as of today for some reason it stopped working (stopped showing up in my computer, explorer, as well as disk management) im not sure what to do at this point. i have already uninstalled the drivers, plugged in the USB that connects to my external, and it updated automatically, so im guessing its not the drives/USB ports. it says everything is installed and ready to use yet i can not see the drive in my computer or disk management? i havnt tried it on another computer yet, but that may be an option, i dont think i deleted the partition, but maybe i did...would a partition recovery program possibly work? any suggestions would be great!

start simple and try it in another computer and go from there
