I had this KAZER external hard drive(320Gb) I did checked my consumes space it's about 19Gb only so there's more free space about 301Gb I was savings some files of about 7.73Gb but it doesn't accept I had know idea at all why can't go in. It says no more space needs to clean up but when I clean up all the space it's the same won't accept it. Do I need to defragment the hard drive as in my computer hd?

Some files and iso's need to be transferred onto a drive formatted with the NTFS file system. Google the trick for formatting one under your OS (Microsoft locks it by default). Warning if you re-format your external you will lose everything.
I would suggest partitioning it and then formatting a certain portion on it.

Is it external hardrive is ready for use rigth away no need for reformat ? Is it better to save all the files in my external hard drive to computer first and reformat the external hard drive so there's no lost of my files? I did checked it in Google using OS window xp go to disk management/choose the volume to reformat. Is that right?I want to make sure before going thru?
