I Have a western Digital External hard drive. I also have a Toshiba my book. I have transferred some info from Western Digital to the Toshiba however there are so many more things that need to be transferred. How do I go about doing this and how do I keep transferring the information without doing it one at a time. Thanks for your help.

If the data is in different folders you'll just have to copy and paste. Or are you wanting everything on one drive to be on the other? If so, you can just use cloning software to clone from one to the other. It basically depends on where the data is located and stuff.

Is there no way you can do it without purchasing something? Thanks for answering.

There is free cloning software. But can you answer if everything on the one drive has to be on the other? You can still copy and paste everything at once.

You can move multiple files and folders with one operation, it will sequentially go through the list and transfer them all one by one, but it's not a manual process at that point.

If you'd like an auto backup or cloning style setup then you can either point Windows backup at the external or use another cloning style software. Most of those will just mirror the drive entirely from your internal to the external, which may or may not be desirable depending on what you want to do.

Thanks so much for your input.
