External Hardrive USB Driver Problem

Hi all.

I took the old Fujitsu hardrive (40gb) out of my old laptop and bought a 2.5" enclosure off of ebay a couple of years ago. I have been using it as and external hardrive and all has been working fine up until the other day.

When i plug the external hardrive into any USB port on any computer a msg box appears with No drivers installed for this USB device. I've tried rolling back and updating in device manager but to no avail. Also when I go into device manager and check out the properties for the USB attached hardrive the properties window states that their is no driver installed for this device.

Is there anyway I can get this working?? I've tried trawlling the Fujitsu website for drivers but nothing works.

Here are the error msg's i get.

I've got it full to capacity with music and vids that i'd prefer not to lose.

Any help would be most appreciated because i've hit a brick wall!

Thanks,
Chris.

I'd try another drive in the enclosure and/or the enclosure on another computer. It's not too uncommon for either the hard drive or enclosure to give out... Also, if you havn't tried other USB ports, that might be another option...
