I don't have any programs installed on them. I just have things on it that would take up useless space on my internal. I run my stand-alone apps off of it and they run fine. I even play my music off of it and it runs fine. It's nice when I take it places cause it fits in my pocket! Imagine 120GB in your pocket!! WD even makes 300GB pocket HDD!!!!!
