Hello Everyone! (And Merry xmas!)
today i discovered my 2TB LaCie Neil Poulton was pretty full. (had 20gb free space) so i started cleaning it up and so, but it's still pretty full (many movies and tv series + bunch of games and programs). so i've been thinking about buying an new Ext. HDD sometime sooner or later (probably when i update my rig).. i've been looking at some 3TB ones, since i use pretty much my ext. hdd and need much space on it... i've listed a couple of one i could think about buying, but i'd like to hear what you guys think about these hdd's.
LaCie Porsche Design P'9230 - 3 Tt - USB 3.0 [145.06€]
My favorite one, been using LaCie's ext. hdd's for many years (but also the most expensive).
WD Elements Desktop WDBAAU0030HBK - 3 Tt - USB 2.0 [121.69€]
My first ext. hdd was a WD My Book, so i'm somewhat familiar with WD's ext. hdd's. But it has USB 2.0 :/
Seagate Backupplus 3,5" 3TB Extern USB3.0 [111.21€]
I have no experience of Seagate's products, but i've heared some seagate ext. hdd's have had weird noises etc. and the model backupplos, hmm....
SEAGATE Expansion Desktop 3TB HDD USB3.0 3,5inch RTL extern [125.73€]
the last one, don't remember if it was the Expansion ones that had weird knocking noises....
So, which one do you guys think i should get? or if you have any other good 3tb ext. hdd's, make sure to share them here.
