Extreme Budget Build for Friend

Hi again, my friend wants a computer to use and I'm trying to build him it with his extremely tight budget, so no matter what lower is better.

Here's what I have so far, I already have a PSU so that isn't important.

Sorry for the image quality, had to upload from my phone,

Thanks,

Looks good to me, I think you're definitely on the right track.

The only thing I want to mention is that you should consider having 4GB of memory vs only 2GB. Depending on what your friend uses the system for, 2GB could easily hold them back, whereas with 4GB they would be set. Always an option to add more later though, if you can't justify the extra cost now.

That two underneath the RAM signifies two of the item in the cart, thanks though!

Pretty much anything besides hitachi. Samsung, western digital, seagate. It's not worth it to buy a drive that has a high chance of failure.

What about a RECERTIFIED WD drive? I'm iffy on Recertified but it's the only way to keep it cheap it seems..
