Extreme Gaming

Hey guys, I previously posted what type of computer I was going to build for my first computer. But i'm still unsure on what I want to do. Maybe some information from Gamers that have EXTREME computers can help me.

What I'm looking for is a very solid gaming computer in the 1400-1500 dollar range. (not including OS)

What i'm looking for in this computer is to be able to run any game at MAX settings with flawless performance.

Games such as-

EQ2
WoW
FFXIV
WarHammer Online
AoC

If you could do me a favor and take some time to visit Newegg and post me some AWESOME set-ups that'd be perfect

12 gigs of ram and a 5770 for hardcore gaming is off. You've come to a good place though.

With your budget I'd want an i7. Maybe something like this:

i7-950 & Asus p6x58d-E MoBo $514

XFX be 750 & 6gigs Skill 1600 $215

Sony Optiarc DVD $20

F3 Spinpoint$75

Lan Cool PC-K62 $100

Asus eah 5870 v2 $370

True 120 $60



That's about $1360 I think. If you wanted to, you could downgrade to an i5 or an AMD build and go even heavier on the GPU...

Anyone else have any thoughts on building a beast of a gaming PC that WILL be able to handle any game I throw at it maxed out settings? I would love as much information I can get!
