What does a "slot had 2 slots to receive the card in" mean???? It is supposed that all PCI cards are the same and it is supposed that you have an integrated card which likely means that your current graphics card is a built in one and you will have to disable it from your BIOS settings to install a secondary graphics card like the one you bought.

If your motherboard has an AGP slot, then buy an AGP card and install it if you are not sure of the PCI ones.

And you got to know the difference between an AGP slot and a PCI slot too :) They are totally different specially for graphics cards.

I thought it might be a AGP slot not a PCI, your going to have to go back to the place and ask for the best AGP graphics card you can get.
