Hi all,
I am thinking setup a system that will run 3 monitors eyefinity. What is the cheapest way I can go? Does it have to be same monitors?
Does Nvidia make any card that similar to eyefinity? or just AMD does that?
I just want to know about how much cost so I can have an idea how long I have to save before I can actually get it.

I don't real play games but if it have the capacity I don't mind. Which would be the lowest end card that support eyefinity? does all the new high end cards support it? like HD6950 or GTX570?
Thank you in advance.
Paul

Eyefinity is with AMD only. You can get 3 monitors with 2 Nvidia cards, though. The monitors don't have to be the same, but its usually best. A 6950 or 6970 would do for playing games, but you could probably get away with a lesser model, if you're not gaming with it.

For Nvidia surround or eyefinity all monitors must share the same native resolution and refresh rate.

Do I need two cards to do that? or I can just use one card? which lowest card I can go if one card is possible? If I don't have the same resolution in all the monitors, Can I still use three monitors?
Thank you.

I have an Eyefinity setup consisting of [ 23" ] [ 24" ] [ 23" ] all running 1080p.
I really like how the middle monitor is a tad larger, as the two on the sides aren't used as much as the middle one.
But the thing that confuses most people is the fact that you need a display port connection.
You can get an adapter rather cheap, but look out, it has to an ACTIVE adapter.
Good luck

I have one 30" monitor and two 20" monitors setup in portrait / lanscape / portrait configuration. But I have to use SoftTh to make it work with games.......
