f8 key question

Hi,

I may have posted this in the wrong place. I am trying to get into safe mode on my computer and when I press the f8 key after the beep it always goes into windows. I have a MX-300 Logitech cordless keyboard that I just bought. My question is do I have to program the "f" keys in some way? I figured the default would work but I'm confused now.

sometimes you have to repeatedly tap the F8 key, all the time until you see the advanced boot screen, as soon as you turn the PC on, jsut start frantically tapping F8, you'll get there

when try to get into safe mode, hold f8 key I think.

you'll need a wired keyboard if none of that works. Windows may not have loaded the wireless drivers.

Yer i just constantly keep pressing it as soon as i turn my computer on :/
