My issues are about two things. There are some people I like but who I dont want reading certain comments or watching certain videos or seeinbg certain photos of me , how do i stop everyone except myself seeing certain things or just certain people? Will they know they are specifically blocked as well?

I believe you can set it so that no one can view your photos except for you, but I don't believe you can restrict certain photos. If there are only a few people you are talking about, why not just remove them as friends?

In any case, take a look at the settings, I remember seeing a few of those options under a privacy setting.

I think Omega might be right, you definitely used to set it to: No-one, friends or anyone. But I think they might have recently made it so you can create groups of friends. Or I might have imagined that. Create a practice album and see what options it gives you.

I guess the blocked people will not know that you have posted the photo's, like you have no idea about what I have posted as your not my friend. Doug.

Omega is right my girly uses facebook and has that enabled and it works well but I would say this to you.

If you don't want anyone to see them the best defense is to not post it on the internet.

Facebook like myspace has been hacked easily before and pictures taken/posted on sites by people with basic knowledge so remember there is no true privacy.

So beware of what you wanna put up there because it could be later obtained and reposted else where.

The problem I have is that two girls have put comments on my wall one happy birthday darling the other nothing scandalous, but people read it. Is there anyway, to keep their comments, but not let anyone else read them?

I guess talking to someone on those chat boxes similar to MSN can only be read by you and the person you are chatting to, right?

they commented on his wall man..
so every1 can view them when they first open their profile..
i think there is a setting to configure in privacy configuration:rolleyes:
