Hi guys is it possible in Facebook without getting a new account to change my name?

No, I don't think so. I tried many times. You can change it on the options and it is subject to approval by admins or whoever. It never worked for me.

You still should try though, I was able to change mine once.

I was able to change my first name from Richard to Richie, what people usually call me.

My wife changed her last name...so I'm assuming that as long as it's not like something stupid facebook will approve it.

If Face book is anything like Myspace there should be edit options..or a way to ask for help from the administrators...im able to change my name..etc..on Myspace so theres gotta be a way..if u havent found one yet ill go check it out and find out...

I emailed facebook to change my birthyear because my friend messed it up when he made it for me and facebook went in and fixed it. just email them.
