Faceplate on mobo???

This is my first computer being built and I just got an ASUS A8N-SLI, my problem is that I don't know what to do with the faceplate (or I/O panel). It has a bunch of little bent back pieces of metal that I don't know whether to cut off or not??? Does anyone know what I should do??

i have the same mother bored.....on your case replace the face place that's on there.... and as far as the metal things, i just bent my back so it'd fit

Just bent them, no need to break off.

Bend them so they sit right over the connectors on the motherboard.

well...they dont do much more bent than they do broken...breaking them off is a little neater. if you can see that the faceplate on the case is compatible with the motherboard, then dont take it out, because they tend to be a lot stronger than the flimsy faceplates that come with motherboards. i was so pissed to find i had to take it out...it was all sturdy and stuff......damn dfi....
