Factory Defect...anyone else?

Well this is just a wonder what else had become defect out there post...just wondering what u guys have seen or happened to you.

I bought all my parts brand new, nothing refurbished, and not from e-bay.
I bought everything from name brand computer stores.
lets start the list...maybe i just had back luck when i was making my computer...First my Mobo from Asus was defect and had to return it, my hard-drive a seagate barracuda ide 200gb, my hsf with my processor from intel, 2 different power supplies an Enermax All in one Noisetaker 600w, an Ocz powerstream 520w, and to finish it off my windows xp professional cd-key was used before me and had to get a new one from the store...
And just to let ya know i bought all the different parts came from different stores and somehow i just got unlucky over and over and belive me you know how often i heard, "this is weird, this never happens"..i just made a post about power supplies and it got me thinking anyone else ever run into problems into me...haha well reply away
 
If you look above you is there a dark cloud and everywhere else it is sunny LOL, ,,,,,it happens thats the way it is. Is this your first time at building a pc ?
 
um...my cpu came with two bent pins...but that was kinda to be expected, seeing as to how it was refurbished...but i just bent them back with a toothpick and its fine. guess i got off lucky.............

I found an old 500Mhz AMD K6-2 and it had all corrosive crap on all of the pins, i cleaned it up with a nail file, lol, i just sat thre for 30 mins filing away at these pins, popped it into my old system and it booted up with no problem. And people say to be careful with things like CPUs and ram etc....... BAH!!!
 
um...someone hates me...

It was my second actual build for myself my first one ihad a friend of mine help me and he pretty much did all the work, but i live with some room-mates from university and last year i lived in dorms and never have i seen as many problems as with mine my current build was my 14ish build and before mine the only problem i seen was a stock heatsink a bit bent...but ya i dunno what to say maybe someone didn't want me to have my computer or maybe i somehow got every defect part possible....
 
uncomputer related. i get a lot of defected shoes. just cuz i buy a lot.

computer related. pda's, zire 72. controllers. a hdd refurb hdd with stuff still on it. cd's with not 50, when there was supose to be.
 
Hard drives, Power supply, and RAM are about the only new components i've had trouble with. The worst part was trying to get the warranty honoured. In one case, two of the pins on the power supply's mobo connection (the 3.3V rail) were clearly bunred, almost black, and the company wanted 2 weeks to check whether it worked!
