Failing DVD drive

My dvd drive was working fine. However I just installed a second hard drive to my motherboard via the ide port. The hard drive that was already in there was sata. Since doing this, my computer recognizes both HDD's but now no longer displays the DVD drive in "my computer". Nor does it appear to want to eject. I find this weird, becasuse I haven't unplugged anything from the dvd drive. Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

list how you now have the 3 drives setup. If you have a hard drive and optical drive on the same cable I dont think you can do that.

You can have optical and HDD on the same IDE chain. I've been finding that many newer mother boards are having issues when you add IDE HDD in addition to SATA HDD. Check your BIOS for configuration info.
