SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a Pal!
Thanks a greatly mighty wonderful brother.
Wolfeking, you did it again:
You solved the problem.
I think with this, I should be able to understand what configuration is in my computer.
And it sure beats having to go onto the internet for the crucial analysis!!
I never was very fond of the crucial site. This will also give a fresh perspective on things that is much more detailed than crucial could EVER be!!!
Man, this is great
So I guess I don't really need to know what the numbers are on the RAM chip then huh?
It wouldn't really do me any good?
And I'm glad that I asked you about the 4 Gig RAM to a 256MB computer!! -- because now I know that the computer won't start...
My computer may have died:
but it gave life to my inkling of what hardware is.
Thank you Wolfeking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I think I can now figure out how to determine what type of DDR# that a RAM is --
by the MHz speed number, such as <533MB = DDR:good:
