Fan/Airflow Routing

I just got an Aspire X-Crusier case and have a 120mm in the rear, 80mm in the top, side (cpu channel), and two in the front. I was wanting to know what is the proper way to conduct my airflow. Which fans should act as intakes and which as outtakes. Does the actual cpu fan blow down on the heat sink, I would think the 80mm side fan that directs to teh cpu should move air the same direction as the cpu heatsink fan. Let me know what you guys think or if you have a similar setup let me know how you have it. I got this thing together and am so glad i built my own versus a Dell, great experience.

Thanks,

intake: front, side (cpu channel? is that an airduct?)
Exhaust: top, back.

and yes, a cpu fan blows into the heatsink

make sure you got enough room at the exhaust fans so the hot air doesn't just sit at the back of your desk or something....make sure there's room for it to escape

Hey guys. At first, I had an 80 mm in the front, blowing in the case, a 80mm on the side blowing in, and one 80mm in the back blowing out. So I was having really bad temps on my CPU, so I looked for a solution. I decided to move the front 80mm to the back top, and have it blow in towards my CPU. Then, my CPU is sucking in colder air. All the other fans stayed the same. This brought by CPU temps down from about 64 Celcius idle, to 47 celcius idle. It helped A TON. So you just have to gkind of mess around with it, see what works.

well the reason yours didnt work is because you had un even air pressure, which is bad, also the in and out air flow in the back of your case is not a good idea either
