Fan controller recommendations

Hey guys,

So I got a weird setup going on here. I bought 3 140mm PWM fans (PWM uses a 4-pin connector btw) with the goal of controlling them with a PWM splitter off of my motherboard. Unfortunately, it seems the splitter I got is not working, instead all the fans are going 100% all the time thanks to the molex power connector it has.

Oh well. I started looking into fan controllers as my next project on this beast, and it's very hard finding ones that actually support 4-pin fans. Yes I know you can run 4-pin fans off of 3-pin connectors, but I wanted to do it via PWM instead of voltage.

Anyway, the controller I found that looks cool and seems to do everything I want (temp-influenced automatic speeds as well as manual if I need to silence my PC for audio recording, 4-pin fan connectors, and painted black to match my case) and it's the BitFenix Recon: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811997078

I am open to alternatives though, anybody got some suggestions?
