Fan Controller

I was looking at getting a fan controller for my case. I have 2 concerns:

1) Will this make my case look sloppy? There seems to be a lot of wires involved

2) Can i hook more than one fan up for each knob? I have a total of 5 fans and look to purchase 5 more, just wondering if I will have to buy another controller

I would not hook more than one fan up to the connector, it is made to run one fan, that is what it should do.

I use the Zalman MFC1 and it has been great. It has 6 channels and a nice wide voltage spread. When turned all the way down, the fans hardly even spin. Cranked all the way up they will scream! A couple of these you will be in business.

It looks nice and cables are not that bad. It uses the standard 3 pin fan connections. You can also get 3 pin extensions so your fan wires can reach.

Not to jack your thread, but I have one of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811995016 that I bought when they where 39.99 pluse tax. I used it for about a month and decided to take it out. Works great, I just thought the blue lights were overpowering. I'll sell it for $20.00. Let me know....

I agree, this is a great piece of fan controlling hardware, I have one myself. Only con are the blue lights that will throw off my red theme, but what can ya do? (change the LEDs )

The fans in my case have four pin connectors.
Sorry Compequip but I only put new parts in my baby haha

No one has experience with the touch screen fan controller I gave a link too? I really dont want knobs. Are the wires really messy for the fan controllers?

I had a Coolermaster fan controller and the lights were bright, too bright. I just took a black marker and colored almost all the LED bulb...worked perfect. Brought it down to a nice small LED.

I also have a new one in the box =-). Are the wires messy, they can be, but can also be hidden in the right case. I put the wires behind the mobo case back panel on my antec 900.

as far as putting 2 fans on one controller it depends on how much power the fans use combined if it doesn't exceed the max capable for the controller you'll be fine you can either buy a y splitter for each set or just splice the wires together only using one rpm wire
