Well i just got a e6600 and the stock fan sucks ass. Idle around 36-42C and underload 55-70C. I am looking for a good fan&heatsink for under 40 usd. Some extra stuff, make sure it fits in this motherboard without overlaping in other componest or hardware. Will also would like it in a black, blue, or clear color but it would matter if it was a really good fan for a cheap price.
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo e6600
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-925P-DS3

Then you will have to start looking around for a model in that price range like those seen at http://www.xoxide.com/intelsocket775.html One that seems to do the best job for under $30 is the Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro now onsale at http://www.xoxide.com/arctic-cooling-freezer-7-pro.html

The better lineup by Zalman goes for about twice the $24.99 price tag seen there but they perform a bit better. These two makes are generally the top of the list for brand names as far as cpu coolers.

just to name a few...

EDIT: dang it...as always im too slow >.<

Did you look at the price seen at the xoxide.com link? $24.99! Now compare that to newegg's price on the link there. ! The Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro has been seen there for $29.99 for a long time. For a cooler under $30 you can't go wrong there.

It helps to post a link from the product's page not your shopping cart. You will have to post new links for someone to even see the two items you are looking at. But you can easily see the large price difference on the Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for $29.99 onsale for $24.99 at xoxide. com while newegg was what? twice as much! No wonder it sold out fast! :P Don't worry they will restock at the $29.99 price again. But why wait when you can it for $29.95 at http://www.coolerguys.com/840556021407.html :D

Ouch! alright. But you can see the price difference between those two sites and newegg. It's mainly a lesson in shopping around for price comparisons. Yet newegg has great deals on other things at the same time. It's one of the more popular vendors for that reason. But $59.99?

Speaking of "shopping around" directron.com beats the sale price seen earlier with a $21.99 tag as seen at http://www.directron.com/acfz7pro.html
