Fan Position

Quick question, I have one 80mm case fan should I mount it as an exhaust in the back slot or an exhaust (or intake) over the graphics card(there's a vent over the pci slots)

Though I am still amature in this thing, but in my opinion you should use this as exhaust at the top of your case if possible because hot air always rises up.

Exhaust in back...

Why? I only have my exhaust in back because my CNPS9500 blows air that way. If he has a standard cooler, it makes much more sense to have it up top.

If you dont have a fan blowing over the GFX card already, i would reccomend that, as it is good for the card and improves airflow all around.

Well I don't really see a reason to put it as an exhaust over the video card.. though you could have it blowing on the video card if it is overheating at all.

I am assuming you already have an exhaust of some sort in the back of the case? I think it would be bad if you didn't.

As for putting it at the top of the case.. if your case can't do that then forget it. My case is nice because I have fans on the front that blow air in and then an exhaust in the back.. so it creates a sort of airflow through the case.
