Far Cry 2 any good?

Now that i've played it to 20% i can see why people hate it, but it isnt that bad. The graphics are nice, but the overall game is getting repetitive.
I also see why people call it Far Drive 2.
You have to drive EVERYWHERE, and you can't really go anywhere without beeing shot at. I do like all the weapons though. I use the M1903 Sniper Rifle and the Mac 10 for my main weapon. works like a charm.

I don't know, i havent played the multiplayer. I'm currently having trouble loading my save files.

Well, the game very interesting after you past 30%. You assinate the leaser of the APR, you have to choose to defend your buddies or the underground, either way you "die" and your buddies are killed, and fall off the back of a truck in the desert. then you find some shelter and guess who comes by? The Jackal of course! Then the new leader of the APR hires you to kill the leader of the UFLL.
Then you move into the southern area and do some more stuff like killing people from a barge, escaping the new ceasefire zone that erupted with gunfire, and finally the mission is over.

Play it more than 20% people and it gets interesting!

I haven't played a true singleplayer game for. uh.... 9 months? I really want to game lol.

I have a huge list of games i just want to get on and play and finish.. hmm

lowest settings @ 1024x768.

Yes, it shouldnt have been called FC2. maybe something like Repetetive Africa Malaria Free Roam or something. I hear that ubi's tech support is non existent? I cant actually get the game to run... i borrowed it from a friend.
splash screen appears then disappears, and no game runs. does with benchy tool, editor and game.

+1 ..It wasnt Far Cry,only similarity was turret mounted armored Suv.They should have called it something else like Diamond Smuggler.I guess they named it Far cry just to capitalize on the title.Its got too many headaches as well as the guns that last a couple hundred shots when IRL these guns/barrels last 20,000 or so.This is the same reason I dislike Stalker Clear sky, the add stuff to the game that is worse than in real life and doesnt add any depth or innovation to the game, just adds repetitive harrassment
