Farcry 2 why all the hate

the story line is repetitve but ilke the graphics, i quite like the game play
and i love the open world environment and since i have it on ps3 and there is no way in hell my pc will run crysis farcry 2 is as close as im gonna get

That is cool that you could understand what they were saying...by chance was it something like "haha idiots bought this game" or "hey hold my beer I will respawn in 5 minutes"


Though I liked the Rust I never had a issue with it...I have a 70% or so accuracy so bullets hardly go to waste so I never run out of primary ammo and I have the horrible habbit of regrabbing my weapons each time I pick a quest so they never fall under 80% durability.

So I missed out on that feature.
 
I think the single player is a bit shoddy; at first it seems pretty interesting (even though the voice acting and overall dialogue sucks arse) but then gets really repetative and it neer seems like it is going anywhere.

However, I have been playing multiplayer quite a bit recently which I have found really really fun. Yes, it is on console, but the people that play it are generally not the whiney, wingy sob's that are usualy on XBL, but really fun people to play with and sniping is hella cool to do

When i finally got to play it online after running into a load of problems creating an online account i joined a game and it was instant spawnkill and the weapon aiming system is so crap....not like in single-player.

Ive not been on it since!

I haven't had any of those issues, seems you just got unlucky :P
 
it plays fine for me, but that's not necessarily a good thing. perhaps random errors and crashes would be more entertaining than doing the same missions over and over for ever and ever and ever...

graphics look nice though, which is why i seriously think crysis is not very optimized; they booth look very nice but i get higher frames in far cry 2.
