I have a HP with windows 7, I recently upgraded my Fash player..it tells me its in my system when I look what programs are there..however I cant view streaming news or video...it tells me I must install a flash player..I have the 64 bit system..and that ALL its worth:eek:..

any help out there??

Thanks

Steven

Are you using IE or another browser? Because IE uses a separate version of Flash, while other versions use the plug-in.

Your best bet is to download Flash from whatever browser you're using and installing it. Just visit Adobe.com and click on Adobe Flash Player on the right hand side.

That's because Flash is integrated into Google chrome. You need to install Flash for it to work in Internet Explorer.

I did as suggested and removed the flash player..successfully..it disappeared from the control panel. I closed everything and reinstalled it and on my control panel it said 32 bit..so it did reinstall..however I went to CNN news and tried to play any news video..and the screen said I needed to install flash player....

Does Java have anything to do with this or some other setting on my computer???I did see some other gentleman who was running the exact same operating system with 64 bit that had the same problem..it told him also that Flash was loaded on his computer however it didn't seem to be allowing the videos to play..a disconnect between what was on his control panel..and it wouldn't work for him...what do I need to check on mys system??

cheers
Steven
