I have the standard Network which is call the Gigabyte Network. I have two computer and a Network Hard Drive called WD MyBook 2 TB which is 5 years old. I can take my WD Passport Hard Drive and I have 5 GB of date transfer which is 5 times faster than my Network. Is there anyway to make my Network transfer data at 5 GB. I here there is a CAT 6 cable that will do it but I know there is a lot more to it. Can anyone tell my how I can get my Network up to 5 GB transfer data?

You won't get 5gbps speeds. You'd need a fiber connection to hit higher than a gigabit speed.

Usually it's buying new NICs and networking equipment like a switch. Local busses are faster like eSATA or USB 3.1.

Your hard drive won't mechanically read much faster than a gigabit (~125 MB/sec) so it's kind of a moot point.
