Hi All,
I have a 64gb USB 2 Flash drive that I am trying to convert to NTFS, the problem is none of the methods I have tried have worked, I have been through disk & drive management, through the normal format scenario, the command prompt and the only thing that has happened is my time has been wasted and it's meant I have been frozen out of the control panel until I reboot or it unfreezes, I have tried three different USB ports on two computers.
When I look at computer (start menu) the flash drive shows up as being there BUT the size of the drive and how much free space doesn't, however if I reformat back to fat 32 everything is fine.
I am running win 7 home 64bit on a high end i7 processor on an x-79s-up5 mobo with 64gb 2400 ram.
Any thoughts?????
TIA
