Fatal error

I use the Microsoft flight simulator and half way into my flight, I get a fatal error message. I went into my AppCrash and I get a blank screen. Any ideas ?

FS2004 or FSX? What do you mean you went to APPcrash and got a blank screen? Does the Event viewer not have info.? Sometimes this is caused by an addon or memory. Did you add any addons recently prior to the crash? You could also try to rebuild the cfg file by deleting it, launching the sim and it will recreate it. If you had custom settings in the cfg file be sure to save those.

Also note where the error occurred or what gauge you may have toggled. If this error happens at a certain area it is likely an airport or terrain that loaded that caused the error.

It happens about twelve minutes into the flight, flying out of KJFK which is pretty intensive scenry. I un-installed all PMDG Aircraft , the same ones I downloaded prior to the problem.

So this error doesn't happen any where else but out of KJFK? Try turning the settings down. When I fly to NY or DC the buildings cause my FPS to lower.
