Faulty crosshair V formula?

Hi guys/girls


I think my ch v took a dump on me. Wont boot past bios splash screen, tried 3 different gfx cards, different psu, and same result. I have experienced similar issues with ch iv, and it was always the mb. I torture tested my cpu at 4.5 ghz with meager voltages with no problems on cpu, and the corsair ram i have is almost bulletproof. Should i rma the board? I dont wanna look like an idiot when the company i got it from tests it and it works.
 
Hate to say the obvious things, but have you cleared the CMOS battery? Tried unplugging everything but the board, cpu, and RAM and using the onboard video? Is the RAM ok?
 
Usually a failing hard drive will stop the boot process at the bios/post screen. Might want to verify your hdd is good.
