I just installed a new psu and my new GTX 260 graphics card. However, when i connect up my monitor and switch the system on, the screen is brought out of standby, but remains blank. It appears to be receiving some sort of signal from the card otherwise it would remain on standby.
Now, when I replace the gtx with my old 9600gt everything works fine again. So I know there's not a problem with the psu. I spoke to someone who said I might need to reset the cmos, but somebody else told me that it was nothing to do with this. I've switched both cards over several times now, and the same thing keeps happening.
Oh and it's not a power problem either, because it's a rather expensive enermax psu, so the card is definitely getting enough power.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Cheers.
