Two brands:
Mesh Computers: Mesh use motherboards such as the P5N-E in their systems and they always take a long time to fail, my friend had a Dell that failed in 2 years, the Mesh took 5 years!
eMachines: Not an obvious one, but I have had an eMachines 420 as my main computer and in hindsight I must say it was a good computer, it wasn't all that powerful but it never had a single failure despite the Bestec PSU and it was small. My grandparents have recently given me an older (2002) 150DVD which while only having a 1.2GHz Celeron and 256mb of RAM etc it is a good little system to run Xubuntu on. I'm going to upgrade that PC just because I like it so much, only a new PSU, fans and a couple of RAMsinks. Although the idea of a Radeon 9250SE is tempting...
