My favourites on my computer when i click on them at the top. it should say add and delete. but my are not there.So i cant add to my favourites or delete some. I dont know whats happened.Anybody any ideas?

as you are using xp i would asume that you are using IE (INTERNET EXPLORER)
as that is the default browser. i am not sure why u cannot save your bookmarks on the toolbar but you could try right clicking the page you want to add and there is an option to add to bookmarks from there.
if this option is missing i would try checking for a new version of IE or alternatively i would download firefox ( which i think is far better anyway)

The options and files associated with it is probably just missing or corrupted.
What you can try is..
Just go to "Tools" at the top of the browser when you open "My Computer"
and go to "Foler Options." Then, go to the "View" tab and click on "Reset folders" and "Restore defaults."
I will warn you that if you have certain folders preconfigured to your liking.. it might change it.
