I don't know I haven't tried. I need some suggestion, please help me if I should get fear or not.

Its a great game with awesome graphics, but it might tax your system a bit. It will make that 2600+ and that Radeon 9800 Pro scream. :D

Well I didn't have any lag when I played quake 4 and doom. It runs perfect on high specs.
When you say high, do you mean highest or just high? And is your deffinition of perfect around 20FPS? lol

But there is no way you can play FEAR on highest settings with your system.

I love the game. One of my good computer friends introduced it to me and I became obssesed with it! The slow motion is good and it's actually a pretty scary game:eek: ... at night that is;)

It is arguably the most demanding game... I wish I could get it... but if you've seen my sig you would know why I can't get it :P

HAHA ya it is a really good game but like you said it makes your computer cry like a little baby. I only get around 60 FPS and i have a 7800 GT and Opteron 170 clocked at FX-60 speeds lol.

I thought it was an awesome game, but playing single player was a joke. It only took me about 6 hours to win it. Then I tried MP and didn't like it.....guess I'm kind of biased towards BF2 now. I can ran it the whole game on high detail with no problems. No idea on Framerate since I don't know how to read it.

RADEON 9800 PRO is about as good as my video card 6600 (not gt) in this game, and i play it on 1024x768 medium setting with no problems, and i can also play it on 2xAA 800x600 with medium setting, and i recommend that u turn on AA for fear because it will look much better.

I kinda know what that is, but can some1 explain to me? I'm still learning!:o

Too be put in very simple terms "it removes the jagged edges on obstacles in the game"

You can find the setting in your cards preferences.
