I just got FEAR, everyone was saying what a good game it is and I thought I should check it out.
definately worth the money; the $2.5 I rented it for that is.
what is your experience of the game?
 
you rented a PC game? either that's a pretty high tech idea, or that renting host is an idiot.


anyway, my experience. i've only played the demo...and it was freaky.
 
I want to get... unfortunetly, the cover art of a psychopathic girl on the front might discourage my parents... and I dont think I could pass for a 17 year old... lol.

I played the demo though, at least 15 times.

Where I live theres this HUGE video club called "Video Blue", they loan XBOX, XBOX 360, PS2, PSX, PSP, PC games, any DVD, VHS film you're looking for, and they also sell blank DVD/CDs ;)

I did enjoy fear, it was good at setting quite a chilling atmosphere and making the hairs stand up on the back of your neck

Made me jump out of my skin a few times, not cos of the game but because my sound card was shot, I was concentrating really hard and suddenly i get a loud piercing screech and heavy static, i nearly shat meself!

but gave me a good reason to replace the SB live :P
 
Rented it from a friend for a day and didn't give it back for a month :)

Loved it, the ending gives you the peace of mind that there is another one coming out :D
 
well im only have way into it but its quite entertaining...i think some of the fights against those army guys (w/e theyre called) get a bit repeditive, because u have to fight em' so much

with out giving me the ending can someone tell me if its good or not?

OMFG one of the best games I've played, you guys were right, I'm definately going to back-up this game ;)
btw I've only had it for 3 days, I'm a fast player I guess

naah, F.E.A.R.2?, that would ruin it

btw the little girl was completely stolen from 'The Ring' even the way she moved, you know; slowly, then with the speed of light...

mission basically, every time the loading-screen appears it shows you what mission (interval) you're on, they are 11 all together
