Does anyone know alot about Fedora Core 5?
And what do they think of it?
Is it worth using?
I heard of some good reviews but I need to know what ppl think in here...
thanks guys ;)

I test out a lot of Linux distros and Fedora isn't really on my top 10 list, I'm more of a Solaris/Gentoo guy.

I was first introduced to Fedora with Core 4 and found it to be a tad on the slow side. I said I'll give it another chance when Core 5 came out. I then installed Core 5...eh same speal. I do however respect Fedora if your running it as a server since Fedora is basically RedHat. I'd give it a try and see how you like it since not everyone shares the same view on Linux distros. Unlike most Linux diehards, I'm open to new explorations all the time. That's the only way you learn.

I had Fedora Core 4 running barely on a second drive at one point. In fact the best place to get info on Fedora distros along with finding needed drivers is to look over threads at http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/forumdisplay.php?f=35 Boy it took forever to get it to run after several tries due to one file not copying to the drive or not being made active. Then I never got the sound to work on the old card in the case at the time.
