Fetching e-mails

I bought an iPhone 3G, and was wondering how much bandwidth would be used if I set up the phone to auto-fetch my e-mail every hour?

I'm asking cause I don't have an unlimited plan, 250 megs downloadable per month.

I'm going to throw a guess down, and guess that it would only be 200Kb or < for each connect. I tried a google on the subject and I cant seem to find any data measurement on the connect.

Personally if you ask me i would go with the unlimited if you are going to check email it varries based on how many emails you get and if you download attachments.. I would pay the extra cash i have always had unlimited and i get a lot of things in my email..

Unlimited anything is rare here in switzerland.
