Few problems

I just built my new computer, and mostly everything seems to be working fine (im on it now :-D), but there are a few problems. First of all, it doesnt detect my 2 IDE DVD and CD drives every time it boots up. sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt, you can never guess. how can i fix this? also, is there a way to skip all of that crap in DOS where it does the loading, shows you all the computer information, etc etc etc. it takes about 45 seconds, and it would be nice if i could just skip to the XP loading screen. thanks!

well you can disable logo screens for motherboard and such in the BIOS, also you go into your BIOS and enable quick boot.

how do you do tat? i went into bios and couldnt find anything like that.

on my xp home there is a quick boot option in bios, I think default is on or at least I never touched mine and its on last quick start last time i checked.

make sure if you got an IDE PATA devices that your hard drive is before your optical drives eg hard drive connector 0 and optical drive connector 1
