few questions about p4 3.0e?

hi, just wondered what a good temp is for it to run at?
does anyone know any software i can get to monitor the processor temp whilst using the comp?
i got a new gigabyte fan, want to make sure im using it correctly =)

speedfan

these are all good progs for monitoring temp of cpu, hds, and mobo., etc... i reccomend cpu cool - i think its near v.9, because speedfan doesnt work with p4s, only amds.

search on google for the appropriate progs.

The temperature depends on
1. ambient room temp
2. whether you have s478 or s775
3. what cooling you have and if you OC

Generally speaking 50C is ideal for the s478 and 30C for the s775
