file sharing between XP and Vista through a router

Hi all

I have a desktop PC with Windows XP on which is connected to the web using a ethernet cable from a router. I have also just brought a new laptop with Windows Vista on, which I have connected to the internet, wirelessly, through the same router.
Now all I want to do is to be able to use a sharing folder to copy all my files, pics and music from the PC to my laptop through the router.

How do I do this please?
