File too big to be sent through email. How to solve?

Dear Sir,

I have a file itself size is 39.2MB. After I winzip it through Winzip software, it become 36.7MB. It is still big to send through email..

Please kindly advice me what are the softwares that I could use in order to send out the big file through email.

You can try WinRAR and when creating the archive under split to volumes, bytes> select/type the size that you can send in as an email attachment. This way the file will be split into multiple compressed files and you can send each of then individually and then your friend can unrar the original file from the multiple files that you sent him.

Another option is yousendit which is probably easier.

The other thing you can try is to use AIM to transfer the file, if you have it. Instant Messenger has a file transfer function that will allow you to send the file pretty much regardless of the file size. Plus it's handy if you're sending it to one specific person...
