Is there a way to open a file that isnt a win32 application in windows XP?

I downloaded an MS-DOS file, but it wont run because its not a win32 application.

No, it says there is an error with the exe file. I was thinking that maybe it says that because it is not a valid win32 file o.0

it could probably be the file itself then that contains the error. have you tried redownloading or finding an alternative source hosting it.

oh, and since its not a win32, is it a windows application at all?

Erm, I have retrieved it off of msn.com. I'm pretty sure there shouldnt be anything wrong with it, I just cant figure out what I am supposed to use to read it :P

If you are wondering what file I am talking about and would like to try yourself, go to ---http://profiles.msn.com/[email protected]

I was trying to view my hotmail profile and recieved a download of an MS-DOS application...want to know what its all about :P

If it's supposedly a DOS file and does not run in DOS I'm thinking you're out of luck. The file sound like something you should not even have been sent. Why would MSN send someone a DOS exe file?
