Hi,
I have recently purchased a swanky new laptop running Windows 7 x64 and I want to be able to access my old desktop PC running Windows XP X86 in order to move all the photos and other personal contact to this new computer. Both machines are on the same workgroup as far as the network settings are concerned and I can see the desktop from the laptop however its prompting me to enter my log in details which dont seem to work.
I have tried removed the need to enter a password from the desktop and then reconnecting but again, it still prompts me for a password.
This is something that I have done between using 2 machines running Windows XP and I didnt think it would be that difficult but clearly it is. Can anyone offer me some help please?
