Filezilla doesn't recognize my public_html as folder

Good afternoon

I am trying to install WordPress on my host. For that, i have to install all the folders of WordPress in the public_html folder. But Filezilla doesn't recognize it as a folder. So when i upload my files it automatically comes into the main folder. Does anyone know how to fix it??

Try going to server->show hidden files and just see whether it shows up or no?

I'm really not sure about this, but if you delete it and then re-upload it, it might work. Also, upload some file in it with another ftp, like notepad++ . When you have a file in it, it MUST recognize it as a folder..
