Assuming that you're going to be using this for gaming, I would change the processor. For gaming, I would say the i5-2500k is the best processor to go for.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, I think the only differences between they two processors is that the i7-2600k has an extra feature enabled and has a slightly higher clock speed.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
 
agreed on 2500k, put the saved money into one of these options: get a nice cooler, antec kuhler or corsair h series will get you some high clocks (and the feature the 2500k lacked is hyper threading which just makes each core act like 2, but only adds like 20% performance and that's only to programs threaded to use the "8" cores), or, save the 80, lose the 570, and on the 9th pick up a 7970, for 550 it's the fastest single core graphics card out there, and it beats the 500 buck 580 by i think an average of 20% or so
 
I picked the 2600K because I plan on doing video editing, and I run programs such as solidworks. Now what is this that you are saying about the video card. Is a new one coming out on the ninth of this month or something?
 
Wow, that looks a lot faster. How do you know this card will be for sale on the 9th, and how much does it cost?
 
Those specs you shown us is good. It is pretty fastest. RAM is the better, as well as Patriot RAM.

About ATI 7000. There is no "for sure" sentence in any news. For record, we will have to wait for more news to come. You know why no "for sure"? It was officially announce upcome and it is still in making video card. Which mean it can be coming around jan, june, or next years.
 
no, amd, not ati (which was bought by amd years ago and now all products are branded amd) told the people who wrote these reviews that it came out on the 9th, it comes out on the 9th, it is a set release date that was actually moved forward, in anandtechs review they said they were told they had a few weeks or something, then it changed to a few days.
 
Looking pretty darn solid if you get a 7970. But yeah, get an aftermarket cooler and HIT THOSE CLOCKS UP!
