Obvious choice is to target the PSU, I suggest to get one from a reliable brand of about the same wattage specially since you will oc. Perhaps the Corsair 550VX would be a good idea.

Thanks for the suggestion... might switch over although that is double the price for about the same performance

Performance in terms of PSU is more than just numbers, its the quality of those numbers... and sometimes this can cause another component to fail and then it makes you wonder why you didn't spent the extra 50$ to save your mobo or your GPU...
