final build

Yes the 8800GT is a good card in that price range. Its not going to run something like Crysis on all high setting.

It runs it just fine on mine. The next jump up with a Nvidia card worth upgrading from a 8800GT would be a 9800GTX+ or a GTX 260 but your talking more money.

yeah probably when i get my rig ill wait like a year or two until i upgrade my mobo cpu and video card or maybe ill stick with the mobo and cpu for a little longer than 3 years

If you going to try to keep it that long I would go ahead a dish out for the X4 9850 I gave you a link to. But either board and P/S in my links will run everything fine.

iF YOU plan to keep for that long ...i'd suggest to spend extra $$$ now to get better stuff that will last a bit better

yeah ill try to make that point with my dad lol cause he doesnt want to pay that much he thinks there no reason for a new comp

yeah ill probably get that one but where should i buy ir from that site or newegg

Its 4 bucks cheaper at Zip. Its up to you. If your ordering everything else from Newegg I would just get it from egg. One shipment screw the 4 bucks.

Thats why we have parents...to keep us in check....

Explain it from a money standpoint..

1000 now for okay stuff

or say 1600 now for great stuff...and the logevity will be a bit better...

Might be worth keeping SLi for future upgrades though. Spend a bit extra now, and save more in the future, for when you'll need more graphics power.
